I find my inspiration in the kindness and generous gifts from nature and humankind, and the encouragement I received from my father. When I was 6 years old my father commissioned my artist cousin to paint a Thai mural on our living room wall. My father witnessed my fascination as Prince Palam and the Yaw Yuk ( giant ) engaged in an epic battle for the return of the Princess. My father asked me if I wanted to paint on the wall. Of course, I said “ yes “. He told my artist cousin not to change anything I painted. I knew then I wanted to be an artist.

My work is very much influenced by my former work with young children and my current work with plants. I find the artwork I create to be very intuitive and is ingrained with great love and compassion. My hope is that everywhere I go, with every person I meet, I will be able to have a positive influence and leave something beautiful behind. I believe love and compassion are the greatest gifts we can bring into the world.
